At Aberdeen Car Valet we know the importance of correctly washing. Most of our time is spent re-storing paintwork by removing those spider web type scratches, commonly known as swirls, which are caused by bad washing techniques and car washes in general.
The majority of our work is carried out on cars that are black in colour.
Should you go to a car wash and they are still using a sponge and /or chamois leather turn around and get out of there, they will damage your paintwork. Unlike micro-fibre cloths and mitts, a sponge will pick up a minute piece of grit and, therefore when it is placed on the paint it will scratch the paintwork and will be seen most prominently in the sunlight.
